I’m Sra. Jackie Martin and I would love to teach your child the Spanish

language in a fun and informative way.

First, allow me to share a little about myself. I live in Cumming, GA with my

husband, two sons (10 & 1), and two dogs. My father is from Quito, Ecuador

and I grew up speaking Spanish and English in my household. Half of my

family still lives in Quito and I have visited the beautiful country on numerous

occasions. In fact, most of my summers growing up were spent there. I double

majored at Kennesaw State University in Biology/Premed and Spanish and

graduated with both degrees in 2010. My vacations in Ecuador and internship

experiences at KSU made me fall in love with the Spanish language and

culture even more. It is a part of me and I would love to share my knowledge

and excitement with your child!

I have been a private tutor for over 16 years now with high success rates and

this upcoming 2024-2025 school year will be my 7th year teaching at Lab Rats

Cooperative Learning with Ms. Dani. I have taught Conversational Spanish I &

II, Intro Spanish, and Spanish I-V. I strive to make learning Spanish fun while

allowing students to develop their own interests in the language and then I

help guide them in the absorption of the material.
